Maria is the CFO of Hummer Winblad. In conjunction with Hummer Winblad, Maria also serves as the Chief Financial Officer at Aspenwood Ventures. Prior to joining Hummer Winblad as the Controller in 2018, she was a Senior Manager at KPMG in the Venture Capital practice which focused on venture-backed, emerging growth companies through their IPO life cycle. In addition she also worked with public technology and banking clients, and clients in the alternative investment sector. Before moving to the United States in 2011, she started her career with KPMG in Dublin Ireland in the financial services and investment management industry.

Maria is a CPA, Chartered Accountant, and also holds a BSc in Finance from University College Cork (Ireland).
